What led you to focus your medical practice in Seattle on women's health?

I find women often get lost in medicine and in research, especially when our hormones are considered too variable and complex to follow. It took years for me to learn how to advocate for my own health and now it is truly an honor to be a doctor who can serve and speak up for other women when it comes to their healthcare.

What kind of services do you provide?

I practice primary care through a functional medicine lens. My main interests include hormone testing and management, natural aesthetics including PRP injections for the vagina (the V-shot), face, and laser therapy for skin conditions.

How do your services help women experiencing perimenopause or other reproductive health issues?

How a woman experiences hormonal changes like during their monthly cycles and perimenopause/menopause is so individual. My goal is to figure out what systems need support like hormones, gut health, metabolic, cardiovascular health and optimize these systems. Interventions can include hormone replacement therapy, botanicals, nutraceuticals, supplements, lifestyle recommendations, etc.

Who do you love working with?

The majority of my patient population range from ages 20-60. I enjoy figuring out thyroid disorders, period problems, perimenopause / menopause, skin concerns, and vaginal health concerns like tissue atrophy, recurrent infections.

What happens during a first appointment with you?

We first start with getting a good health history. I want to know how symptoms present for you and what your goals are. We then tailor a plan to figure out what actionable steps we can take.

What do you wish people knew about services with you?

Our clinic offers a whole array of services including general health, specialty testing, IV therapy, hormone pellet therapy, the Fotona laser which is known for the NightLase® treatment for sleep apnea and the 4D Facial® for anti-aging wellness.

How can people contact you to learn more about your services in Seattle?

I practice at Natural Medicine of Seattle www.naturalmedicineofseattle.com and you can follow along on my socials @drgracechang on Instagram and TikTok.
